Lee Equity Partners buys majority stake in The Living Co.

Middle-market private equity firm Lee Equity Partners LLC bought a majority stake in The Living Co., with private equity firm TZP Group LLC exiting the business.

Dallas-based The Living Co. provides furniture, fixtures and equipment to off-campus student housing properties. The company's senior management team will continue to lead the business and will keep a meaningful equity ownership. Platform Ventures will also retain an equity stake.

Dan Galpern, Zack Vertsman and Geoff Allard worked on the deal for TZP. The Living Co. was advised by Baird & Co., and Greenberg Traurig offered legal counsel.
