UK PM May postpones parliamentary vote on Brexit deal to mid-January

U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May said members of British Parliament will vote on her proposed Brexit deal in the week of Jan. 14, 2019, the Financial Times reported Dec. 18.

The vote was scheduled for Dec. 11 but May postponed it, citing concerns over the planned backstop solution for the border between Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
