Altice USA Inc. said Feb. 5 that it signed a multiplatform content deal with NBCUniversal Media LLC on the latter's coverage of the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, which will run Feb. 8-25.

Altice USA's Optimum and Suddenlink Communications video subscribers will be able to access NBCU's 2,400 hours of on-demand Olympic programming including coverage of all competition sessions.

Subscribers will also gain access to linear coverage on NBCU networks such as NBC (US), NBCSN (US), CNBC (US), and USA (US) Network, on top of daily news and highlights coverage on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

For updates subscribers can also visit NBCOlympics.com or download the NBC Sports app, and use the NBC Sports Scores app for real-time results of all 15 sports.

Optimum video customers can also use the Optimum or Altice One app to access live content shown on NBCU's broadcast and cable channels.

Comcast Corp. unit NBCUniversal is the U.S. rights holder to the Olympics through 2032.
