Nameson Holdings fiscal H1 profit falls YOY

Nameson Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30, 2015, came to HK$111.1 million, a decrease of 27.0% from HK$152.2 million in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue increased 8.0% year over year to HK$1.76 billion from HK$1.63 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 14.8% on an annual basis to HK$1.57 billion from HK$1.37 billion.

Reported net income decreased 27.9% on an annual basis to HK$155.4 million, or 10 cents per share, from HK$215.6 million.
