Industrial Bank of Korea names new CEO

Industrial Bank of Korea replaced outgoing CEO Kim Do-jin with Yoon Jong-won, the former senior secretary for economic affairs of South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Yonhap News Agency reported.

Yoon was a career official of the Ministry of Economy and Finance before joining Moon's administration.

Yoon's appointment, effective Jan. 3, marked the end of a 10-year streak of internal CEO promotions at Industrial Bank of Korea.
