Centric Health Corp. said its full-year normalized net income amounted to a loss of 15 Canadian cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of a loss of 16 cents per share.
The per-share loss decreased 11.4% year over year from 17 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of C$24.7 million, compared with a loss of C$25.4 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to negative 15.2% from negative 18.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 20.1% year over year to C$162.4 million from C$135.2 million, and total operating expenses climbed 18.7% on an annual basis to C$168.8 million from C$142.2 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of C$36.1 million, or a loss of 23 cents per share, compared to a loss of C$43.9 million, or a loss of 30 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
