Seamico Securities PCL plans to increase its registered capital by selling newly issued shares to a new investor and its existing shareholders.
The Thailand-based brokerage said it would increase its registered capital to 1,240,302,463 baht from 653,868,463 baht by issuing up to 1,172,868,000 new ordinary shares to an investor in a private placement and 826,868,000 shares to its existing shareholders in a rights offering. It added that it has completed the registration of the increase in its registered capital.
The Dec. 28 announcement came days after the company decreased its registered capital by cancelling 576,192,246 unissued authorized shares.
As of Dec. 27, US$ 1 was equivalent to 32.54 Thai baht.
