Fiserv Inc. has provided its outlook for 2018, expecting adjusted EPS in the range of $6.05 to $6.30.
The projected adjusted EPS represents growth of 22% to 27% over 2017 as adjusted for the company's lending business transaction, which is expected to close in the first quarter, the company said.
The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for the year is $5.85.
Additionally, Fiserv reported fourth-quarter 2017 net income of $546 million, or $2.57 per share, compared with $215 million, or 98 cents per share, in the year-ago period.
Adjusted net income was $300 million, or $1.41 per share, versus $254 million, or $1.16 per share, a year ago.
The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for the period was $1.38.
For full year 2017, net income was $1.25 billion, or $5.78 per share, compared with $930 million, or $4.15 per share, in the year-ago period.
Adjusted net income for the year was $1.10 billion, or $5.12 per share, versus $993 million, or $4.43 per share, a year ago.
The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for the year 2017 was $5.08.
