Reckitt Benckiser names Ahold Delhaize exec as CFO

Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC announced Oct. 21 that it named Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV CFO Jeff Carr as its new executive director and CFO, effective April 9, 2020.

Carr will succeed Adrian Hennah, who is expected to retire from the company Oct. 21, 2020.

Carr, who is also a member of the Dutch retailer's management board and executive committee, also held senior finance roles at Reckitt Benckiser between 1994 and 2004.

The news comes more than a month after former CEO Rakesh Kapoor retired from the company's board after announcing in January that he's stepping down from his role at Reckitt Benckiser.

The British consumer goods manufacturer has since named PepsiCo Inc.'s former global chief commercial officer Laxman Narasimhan as its CEO.
