LHC Group Inc. will form a joint venture with Erlanger Health System to provide home health and community-based services in Chattanooga and southeastern Tennessee.

The Chattanooga facility will operate as Erlanger ContinuCare Home Health, and LHC Group will buy majority ownership and assume management responsibility.

LHC Group expects annual revenue of about $7 million from the joint venture.

Erlanger Health System is a Chattanooga, Tenn.-based multihospital system with five hospitals.
