DuPont to acquire Evoqua Water Technologies' Memcor business

DuPont de Nemours Inc. agreed to acquire Evoqua Water Technologies Corp.'s Memcor business including its ultrafiltration and membrane biofiltration technologies for an undisclosed amount.

The Memcor product line provides membrane technologies and systems to municipal and industrial customers. Through its purchase, DuPont intends to add Memcor's offerings including membrane bioreactors and submerged and pressurized ultrafiltration systems to DuPont Water Solutions, its water purification business.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

The transaction follows DuPont's similar recent acquisition deal with BASF SE, reflecting its efforts to expand its ultrafiltration membrane business.
