Ryman Hospitality Properties nets $283M in common-share offering

Ryman Hospitality Properties Inc. completed its public offering of 3.0 million common shares at $85.60 apiece.

The hotel real estate investment trust received net proceeds of about $283 million from the offering, which includes the full exercise of the underwriters' overallotment option to acquire up to 450,000 additional shares.

The REIT plans to use net proceeds in large part to finance the roughly $134 million cash portion of its planned acquisition of the Block 21 mixed-use complex in downtown Austin, Texas.

BofA Securities, J.P Morgan, Wells Fargo Securities, Deutsche Bank Securities and Raymond James were joint book-running managers for the offering, while BTIG, Credit Agricole CIB, Scotiabank, Capital One Securities, Citigroup, SMBC and TD Securities were co-managers.
