Carlyle completes acquisition of majority stake in Sedgwick

Carlyle Group LP completed its acquisition of a majority stake in Sedgwick, which provides technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions in casualty, property, marine, benefits and other lines, from KKR & Co. and other investors.

Carlyle Partners VII LP and Carlyle Global Financial Services Partners III LP provided the equity capital to make the investment.

BofA Merrill Lynch, KKR Capital Markets, Morgan Stanley and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. were joint lead arrangers and joint bookrunners for the debt financing. BNP Paribas, Citizens Bank NA, MUFG, Fifth Third Bank, ING Capital LLC, GIC Private Markets, HPS Investment Partners LLC, Oak Hill Advisors LP and PSP Investments Credit USA LLC also provided debt financing.
