Renasant Bank president/chief banking officer to resign

Curtis Gabardi is resigning as an officer of Renasant Bank. He currently serves as the Tupelo, Miss.-based institution's president and chief banking officer.

His resignation will take effect after a transition period scheduled to end March 31, 2018. Gabardi was previously president and CEO of Metropolitan BancGroup Inc., which was purchased by Renasant in July.

R. Rick Hart, in addition, will be allocating less time for his responsibilities as president of the bank's northern region. That change takes effect May 1, 2018. Hart will remain on Renasant Corp.'s executive leadership team, and his employment agreement has been extended by a year, so it terminates Dec. 31, 2019.
