DaikyoNishikawa Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 amounted to ¥31.73 per share, an increase of 21.7% from ¥26.07 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.30 billion, an increase of 41.9% from ¥1.62 billion in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 5.6% from 5.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 33.1% year over year to ¥41.23 billion from ¥30.97 billion, and total operating expenses increased 27.6% on an annual basis to ¥35.71 billion from ¥27.99 billion.
Reported net income increased 78.9% on an annual basis to ¥2.58 billion, or ¥35.59 per share, from ¥1.44 billion, or ¥23.20 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥93.56 per share, an increase of 5.4% from ¥88.80 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥6.77 billion, an increase of 27.3% from ¥5.32 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue grew 23.8% year over year to ¥134.34 billion from ¥108.52 billion, and total operating expenses increased 21.4% on an annual basis to ¥121.99 billion from ¥100.52 billion.
The company said reported net income rose 59.7% year over year to ¥6.93 billion, or ¥95.82 per share, in the full year, from ¥4.34 billion, or ¥72.50 per share.
