Exotic Food PCL Q3 profit climbs 13.5% YOY

Exotic Food Public Company Ltd said its third-quarter normalized net income was 5 satang per share, compared with 5 satang per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 16.1 million baht, a gain of 13.5% from 14.2 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 9.0% from 7.7% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell year over year to 178.7 million baht from 184.0 million baht, and total operating expenses fell year over year to 155.4 million baht from 163.1 million baht.

Reported net income totaled 24.5 million baht, or 7 satang per share, compared to 21.8 million baht, or 7 satang per share, in the year-earlier period.

As of Nov. 11, US$1 was equivalent to 35.84 baht.
