Largan Precision profit misses consensus by 27.7% in Q3

Largan Precision Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income came to NT$42.36 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of NT$58.58 per share.

EPS increased 13.2% year over year from NT$37.41.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$5.71 billion, a gain of 13.1% from NT$5.04 billion in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 38.3% from 35.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed year over year to NT$14.92 billion from NT$14.31 billion, and total operating expenses grew on an annual basis to NT$6.13 billion from NT$5.95 billion.

Reported net income grew 11.6% from the prior-year period to NT$7.77 billion, or NT$57.67 per share, from NT$6.96 billion, or NT$51.63 per share.
