Pacific Western Bank division names execs

Square1 Bank promoted six officers to key positions, according to a news release.

ArtWasson was appointed executive vice president for venture capital services andglobal treasury management sales. He will manage treasury and treasurymanagement services, deposit products and asset management, and the nationalventure capital services practice. Wasson was previously senior vice presidentof global treasury management.

Stillon the executive level, Jason Kranack was moved from executive vice presidentand head of human resources to executive vice president of banking andoperations.

Alsomoved to another division was Mara Huntington. Huntington was named managingdirector of banking East. She was previously managing director of lifesciences. Her new role will focus on technology and still involve life sciencesbanking practices but specifically for the East Coast markets.

DavidMcLaughlin was named managing director of the Texas region. Priorto his promotion, McLaughlin was senior vice president of venture banking.

Anoriginal founder of Square 1, Ken Fugate, was named managing director forbanking central. Fugate will focus on technology and life sciences bankingpractices in Texas, the Midwest and Rocky Mountain region from the Denveroffice. Meanwhile, the bank's Midwest technology and life sciences practicesfounder, Ryan Dammeyer, was appointed head of structured finance.
