Reliv' International Inc. said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to 9 cents per share, compared with a loss of 6 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $165,280, compared with a loss of $114,340 in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 1.1% from negative 0.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased on an annual basis to $14.8 million from $14.5 million, and total operating expenses declined from the prior-year period to $14.4 million from $14.6 million.
Reported net income totaled $128,220, or 6 cents per share, compared to a loss of $126,660, or a loss of 8 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
