Element 25 secures native title agreement for Butcherbird manganese project

Element 25 Ltd. said May 30 that it reached a native title agreement with Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corp. RNTBC over the land underlying the eastern portion of the Butcherbird manganese project in Western Australia.

The agreement allows for the indigenous Nyiyaparli people to participate in the project's development, as well as a future royalty stream. This is the second and final native title agreement required for the grant of license M52/1074, and for the development of the Butcherbird project.

In April, the explorer outlined a 34% increase in the contained manganese resource at Butcherbird to 263 million tonnes at 10% manganese containing 26.3 Mt of manganese.
