NYC office asset fetches $300M

Chinese conglomerate HNA Group Co. Ltd. and partner MHP Real Estate Services sold the 22-story, 384,000-square-foot office building at 1180 Sixth Ave. in Manhattan, N.Y., for over $300 million, The Real Deal reported.

The property was purchased by Northwood Investors.

HNA was in talks to sell the building in the fall of 2017 to Nightingale Properties for about $320 million, the report said, noting that the negotiations broke down later in the year.
