Corficolombiana to issue up to 500B pesos of bonds

Corporación Financiera Colombiana SA, or Corficolombiana, said it will issue bonds for 400.00 billion pesos, expandable up to 500.00 billion pesos, on Aug. 27.

The bonds will be offered in three tranches, with respective terms of three years, 10 years and 20 years. Each tranche will carry an inflation-tied interest rate: 2.35% for the three-year bonds, 3.15% for the 10-year notes and 4.05% for the 20-year debentures.

Proceeds from the offering will be used to finance the investments of Corficolombiana and its subsidiaries.

Casa de Bolsa SA will act as lead placement agent, while Credicorp Capital and Corredores Davivienda will act as additional placement agents.

The offering is the first in a series of five under the company's 1 trillion-peso global bond program.

As of Aug. 23, US$1 was equivalent to 3,392.70 Colombian pesos.
