Feb. 28

* Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. said John Key joined the company's board, effective Feb. 28.

* Northern Trust Corp. appointed Angelo Calvitto head of its businesses in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, effective June 8.

* China Everbright Bank Co. Ltd. elected Li Xiaopeng chairman of its board.

* TONGYANG Life Insurance Co. Ltd. will dismiss president and CEO Koo Han-suh and make current Co-CEO Luo Jian-rong the company's sole CEO, Yonhap News Agency reported.

* Zhou Tong stepped down as employee representative supervisor of Huishang Bank Corp. Ltd.

* Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. said Zhao Chao stepped down as a nonexecutive director upon the expiration of his term on Feb. 28.

* Shengjing Bank Co. Ltd. appointed Zhang Qiang president.

* Peng Daihui was appointed an external supervisor of Bank of Chongqing Co. Ltd.

Feb. 27

* Punjab National Bank named A.K. Pradhan chief risk officer.

* China CITIC Bank Corp. Ltd. appointed Lu Jingen business director. Meanwhile, Shu Yang, supervisor and chairman of the bank's supervision committee, resigned, effective Feb. 27.

* State Bank of India nominated Sanjeev Nautiyal managing director and CEO of its insurance unit, SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. Nautiyal replaces Arijit Basu, who was named deputy managing director for the corporate accounts group at the parent company.

* David Watts was named chief risk officer of Insurance Australia Group Ltd., effective Sept. 11.

* Fubon Bank (China) Co. Ltd. said Chen Feng resigned as CEO, effective Feb. 28.

* Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings Inc. appointed Hitoshi Sato managing executive officer. In addition, Kuniyuki Shudo, Kenji Kaiya and Keiichi Hamano were appointed managing executive officers of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Ltd. The changes will take effect April 1.

* Enzo Silverii retired as CFO and company secretary at Austock Group, effective Feb. 27.

Feb. 26

* Taiwan-based Hua Nan Commercial Bank Ltd. appointed Lin Chun-liang director, effective Feb. 26.

* Kienlong Commercial Joint Stock Bank appointed Tran Tuan Anh general director, Viet Nam News reported.

* S. Sunthara Moorthy A/L S. Subramaniam was appointed an independent nonexecutive director of AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd., effective March 1.

* Central China Securities Co., Ltd. said Wang Jinchang resigned as shareholder representative supervisor, effective Feb. 26.

Feb. 24

* Indonesian President Joko Widodo nominated Perry Warjiyo governor of Bank Indonesia, Reuters reported.

Feb. 23

* Willis Towers Watson Plc appointed Roger Steel managing director for Hong Kong and Macau, effective Feb. 12. Further, Ted Hodgkinson was appointed head of corporate risk and broking in Hong Kong. He started working at Willis Towers Watson in mid-December 2017.

* Grace Wu stepped down as president of Taiwan's First Financial Holding Co. Ltd. Wu was appointed vice chairman of Waterland Financial Holding Co. Ltd.

* Girish Godbole stepped down as nonexecutive independent director from the board of India-based RBL Bank Ltd.

* South Korea's KB Financial Group Inc. nominated Suk Ho Sonu, Myung Hee Choi, Kouwhan Jeong and SoonWon Kwon nonexecutive directors.

* Axis Bank Ltd. asked its president and chief information officer, Amit Sethi, to resign following complaints about the bank's technology department, The Economic Times reported.

* Australia-based Money3 Corp. Ltd said Brett Coventry resigned as CFO.

* Chinese President Xi Jinping's trusted confidant and top adviser on economic policy has emerged as the leading candidate to lead the People's Bank of China.

* Vijay Vaid retired as independent nonexecutive director of IndusInd Bank Ltd., effective Feb. 3.

* Japan's Dai-ichi Life Holdings Inc. said Norimitsu Kawahara will step down as chief general manager for Asia-Pacific to assume the role of chief of the international life insurance business unit. Among other changes, Tetsuya Kikuta was appointed managing executive officer in charge of the asset management unit.

* CIMB Thai Bank PCL appointed Joseph Dominic Silva and Chanmanu Sumawong directors to its board.

* Union Bank of the Philippines said Amando Valdez resigned as a director, effective Feb. 23.

Feb. 22

* Thailand's Thai Setakij Insurance Public Co. Ltd. said Sudapandh Ingawanij stepped down as a director, effective Feb. 22.

* Syn Mun Kong Insurance PCL said Stewart Michael Langdon stepped down as a board director, effective Feb. 22.

* Daniel Tsai will leave as chief strategy officer of Taishin Financial Holding Co. Ltd., effective March 1.

* Apex Equity Holdings Bhd. redesignated Azizan bin Abdul Rahman as a nonindependent director.

* Thai Reinsurance PCL appointed Chuanchai Cheausamut to its board, effective Feb. 22.

* Malaysia's MAA Group Bhd. appointed Raihanah Begum Binti Abdul Rahman an independent nonexecutive director.

* Jingbo Wang stepped down as CFO of Yintech Investment Holdings, effective Feb. 22. Hongchen Yu, investor relations director of the company, was appointed as interim CFO.

* Australia & New Zealand Banking Group appointed Kevin Corbally chief risk officer, effective March 19. He succeeds Nigel Williams.
