EDF Renewables North America completed the acquisition of the 300-MW Milligan I wind farm in development in Saline County, Neb., from York Nebraska Wind Partners LLC.

York Nebraska Wind Partners is a partnership of Aksamit Resource Management LLC and York Capital Management.

Once operational, the project, comprising 150 wind turbines, will sell its output into the Southwest Power Pool balancing area. It is expected to enter commercial operations in late 2020.

EDF Renewables is a subsidiary of Electricité de France SA. The company said the Milligan project is its first in Nebraska.
