Transit Employees FCU sues call center operator over poor customer service

Transit Employees FCU is suing credit union services operator PSCU Inc. for providing poor customer service to the credit union's members, which Transit Employees believes harmed its reputation, Credit Union Times reported.

The lawsuit alleges that PSCU, which operates call centers and other services for credit unions, put the credit union's members on hold for long periods, misdirected their calls and gave out incorrect information, causing significant harm to Transit Employees' reputation, the news outlet reported.

PSCU has requested arbitration in the matter, the news outlet reported, citing court documents. The arbitration filing claimed that Transit Employees owes PSCU approximately $141,000 in unpaid invoices plus interest, attorney fees and damages.

When reached by Credit Union Times, PSCU spokesperson Merry Pateuk said the company does not comment on pending litigation.
