Acea Energia to purchase output of Italian wind farm from ERG

Acea Energia SpA has signed two 10-year power purchase agreements for the output of the 13.2-MW Avigliano wind farm in Basilicata, Italy, owned by ERG Power Generation SpA.

The supply agreements, which provide for most of the electricity to be sold at a price established within a "collar," will see ACEA Energia take the entire output of the project at a set price, according to an Oct. 18 news release from ERG.

The agreements include an output of 1.5 TWh during the period between 2020 and 2022.

Acea Energia is a subsidiary of ACEA SpA.
