Bank fully compliant with global rules, says Halkbank following exec US arrest

Turkish state-run lender Türkiye Halk Bankasi AS said March 30 that its operations and transactions are fully compliant with national and international rules, following the arrest of its deputy general manager in charge of international banking.

Mehmet Hakan Atilla was arrested in the U.S. on charges of conspiring to commit bank fraud and violating sanctions against Iran.
