KBRA affirms WSFS Financial

Kroll Bond Rating Agency on June 1 affirmed the A- senior unsecured debt rating of WSFS Financial Corp., with a stable outlook for all of the company's long-term ratings.

The Delaware-based company's BBB+ subordinated debt rating and K2 short-term debt rating were also affirmed.

For the company's lead unit, Wilmington Savings Fund Society FSB, the rating agency affirmed its A deposit and senior unsecured debt ratings, A- subordinated debt rating, as well as K1 short-term deposit and debt ratings.

The ratings are supported by an ongoing improvement in recent years of the company's core operating performance and above-average earnings performance, KBRA said. Furthermore, the rating agency said WSFS' attractive funding profile and experienced management team are seen as credit strengths.
