KMS Financial Services Inc. has appointed Erinn Ford president of the company, effective in March.

She will succeed Tracy Forsythe, who is retiring this summer.

Ford will oversee multiple core elements of the firm's forward strategy, including recruiting and retention, enhancements to the firm's client service model and refinements to its open architecture product platform.

Ford most recently served as president of Cetera Advisors LLC.

KMS is a subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc.
