Philadelphia International Educational Q1 profit climbs 31.5% YOY

4915741 said its first-quarter normalized net income amounted to 9 Jordanian fils per share, a gain of 32.6% from 7 fils per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.4 million dinars, a gain of 31.5% from 1.0 million dinars in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 23.1% from 20.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 15.8% on an annual basis to 6.0 million dinars from 5.1 million dinars, and total operating expenses increased 8.2% year over year to 3.8 million dinars from 3.5 million dinars.

Reported net income grew 31.5% on an annual basis to 1.8 million dinars, or 12 fils per share, from 1.3 million dinars, or 9 fils per share.
