Bank of the Ozarks to enter Nashville, Tenn., Orlando, Fla.

Branch expansion plans at Bank of the Ozarks include entering Nashville, Tenn., and Orlando, Fla., in 2019.

The Little Rock, Ark.-based company plans to expand into those markets with one to three sites each, and to enter the Buckhead area of Atlanta with one branch. After 2019, it intends to open several more de novo locations every year in the top 100 metropolitan statistical areas.

Bank of the Ozarks additionally has one branch in the works in Dallas County and another in Tarrant County, Texas, as well as three planned for the central Atlanta metropolitan statistical area. Those branches are in line with its Community Reinvestment Act-focused expansion, according to an investor presentation.
