WH Group Ltd. said Aug. 14 that Deputy Chairman Shuge Jiao resigned from his post, effective immediately, due to his "other business commitments."

Jiao will continue to be a nonexecutive director of the company and a member of its remuneration committee.

The Hong Kong-based packaged foods and meats producer appointed Hongjian Wan as new deputy chairman of the board.

Wan was appointed to the board as an executive director on June 4 at the annual shareholder meeting. Wan is also the vice president of the company handling the international trading business of the group.
