Fitch: Bank of China's Paris branch issues notes

Bank of China Ltd.'s Paris branch issued long-term notes under the lender's Hong Kong branch's US$30 billion medium-term note program, Fitch Ratings said Dec. 1.

The bank issued 1 billion yuan of 4.5% notes due 2020, €700 million floating-rate notes due 2020 and US$500 million of floating-rate notes due 2022.

Proceeds from the issuance will be used to fund eligible green projects. The notes will be traded on Euronext Access, a market operated by Euronext in Paris.

As of Dec. 1, US$1 was equivalent to 6.62 Chinese yuan.
