Eurozone consumer confidence slips in May

Eurozone consumer confidence remained broadly flat in May, slipping 0.1 point to a reading of 0.2 from a downwardly revised 0.3 in April, the latest flash estimates from the European Commission showed.

In the wider EU, consumer sentiment edged up 0.4 point to negative 0.1 in May from April's negative 0.5, which was revised upward.
