Lion One awarded prospecting license adjoining its Tuvatu gold project in Fiji

Lion One Metals Ltd. was granted the new 102-square-kilometers Navilawa special prospecting license adjoining its fully permitted Tuvatu underground gold project in Fiji, the company said Nov. 22.

The company now holds over 200 square kilometers of prospective ground in a contiguous exploration license area with a 385-hectare mining lease near its epicentre at Tuvatu.

Lion One started construction at the Tuvatu project in the middle of this month and the earthworks are scheduled to be substantially complete in the second quarter of 2018.
