Siam Global House Q3 profit climbs 33.9% YOY

Siam Global House PCL said its normalized net income for the third quarter amounted to 6 satang per share, a gain of 33.9% from 4 satang per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 221.3 million baht, an increase of 33.9% from 165.3 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 5.7% from 4.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 13.4% year over year to 4.49 billion baht from 3.96 billion baht, and total operating expenses grew 11.8% from the prior-year period to 4.09 billion baht from 3.66 billion baht.

Reported net income grew 34.5% from the prior-year period to 284.2 million baht, or 7 satang per share, from 211.4 million baht, or 6 satang per share.

As of Nov. 11, US$1 was equivalent to 35.43 baht.
