Former IBERIABANK exec joins Simmons Bank; California's Liberty Bank names SVP

* South San Francisco, Calif.-based Liberty Bank named Kristin Ditlevsen senior vice president and managing director of business development.

She was chosen to replace the retiring Wanda Alfaro.

Ditlevsen was senior vice president and lending group manager at Santa Cruz, Calif.-based Lighthouse Bank.

Liberty Bank is a unit of Liberty Bancorp.

* South State Bank appointed Joann Terrell senior vice president in its mortgage business.

Terrell, a mortgage loan officer, has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage and lending fields.

Columbia, S.C.-based South State Bank is a subsidiary of South State Corp.

* Illinois Bank & Trust promoted Michele Berning to senior vice president and mortgage sales manager, the Telegraph Herald reported.

The Rockford, Ill.-based bank is a subsidiary of Heartland Financial USA Inc.

* Simmons Bank named Brandon Cooper community president for the southwest Tennessee area, encompassing the counties of Shelby, Tipton and Fayette, Memphis Daily News reported.

Cooper previously served as senior vice president and commercial relationship manager at Lafayette, La.-based IBERIABANK, a unit of IBERIABANK Corp.

Pine Bluff, Ark.-based Simmons Bank is a unit of Simmons First National Corp.
