Feb. 21

Choice Bank named Frederick Siemers executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Siemers has served as president and CEO of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.-based River Cities Bank.

The Oshkosh, Wis.-based bank is a unit of Choice Bancorp Inc.

Feb. 20

PeoplesBank A Codorus Valley Co. named Diane Baker executive vice president and chief operating and risk officer.

She had been senior vice president and chief risk officer at the bank, a unit of Codorus Valley Bancorp Inc.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Citizens Savings Bank and Trust Co. appointed Richard Manson chairman, the Nashville Business Journal reported.

Manson — an attorney and the CEO of medical and surgical supply company SourceMark — succeeds T.B. Boyd III, who has retired.

Rebecca Abraham was appointed executive vice president and chief credit and risk officer of Sandy Springs, Ga.-based Signature Bank of Georgia.

Abraham previously was chief credit officer at an Atlanta-based community bank.

Feb. 16

William Littreal was promoted to senior executive vice president and CFO of Portsmouth, Va.-based TowneBank.

He succeeds Clyde McFarland Jr., who is retiring. Littreal is currently chief strategy officer and director of investor relations.

Feb. 15

San Diego Private Bank, which will be renamed CalPrivate Bank, appointed Rick Sowers president.

Sowers previously held the same position at Plaza Bank.

Coronado, Calif.-based San Diego Private Bank is a unit of Private Bancorp of America Inc.

Ames National Corp. President and CEO Thomas Pohlman is retiring, effective June 29. He will remain chairman of the Ames, Iowa-based company's board.

John Nelson, the company's executive vice president, secretary, CFO, COO and board member, will succeed Pohlman in his roles.

Controller John Pierschbacher will, in turn, replace Nelson as CFO and secretary.
