PE-backed PerfectServe buys clinical communication platform vendor Telmediq

PerfectServe Inc. acquired Telmediq, a secure communication platform vendor, for an undisclosed sum.

Ben Moore, CEO and founder of Telmediq, will join PerfectServe as chief product officer and will participate in the strategic direction and integration of both companies. The acquisition follows a capital injection in PerfectServe by enterprise software-focused private equity firm K1 Investment Management LLC in 2018.

The companies will leverage each other's cloud-based, service-oriented architecture to provide clinical communication and collaborative solutions to their network of more than 500,000 users across 250 hospital sites and 27,000 physician practices and post-acute care organizations.
