Kentucky-based First Security Inc. reports change in CRA rating

Owensboro, Ky.-based First Security Inc. reported that its Community Reinvestment Act rating has been changed to "satisfactory."

In the company's May 26 earnings release, President and CEO Michael Beckwith said the change in First Security's CRA rating will allow it to "explore various strategic alternatives" for growth.

The company reported first-quarter net income of $801,000, or 33 cents per share, compared to the year-ago figure of $889,000, or 37 cents per share.
