Bowmark Capital closes latest middle-market fund at £600M

London-based midmarket private equity firm Bowmark Capital LLP raised £600 million for the Bowmark Capital Partners VI fund, meeting its fundraising target in just 10 weeks, according to a company release.

A total of 23 institutional investors from Continental Europe, North America, the U.K. and other countries committed to the fund. The investor base includes pension funds, insurers, funds of funds, endowments, foundations, family offices and other financial institutions.

The vehicle will invest primarily in growth-oriented middle-market companies with enterprise values of up to £200 million.

Campbell Lutyens was exclusive financial adviser on the fundraising, with Stephenson Harwood serving as U.K. legal adviser and Pepper Hamilton as U.S. legal adviser.
