Transneft reports higher H1'19 YOY profit, revenue

Public Joint Stock Company Transneft on Aug. 29 reported a first half profit attributable to shareholders of the company of 105.85 billion Russian rubles, increasing from 92.15 billion rubles during the first half of 2018.

The Russian oil gas storage and transportation company's first half revenue came in at 520.28 billion rubles compared to the 463.31 billion reported a year ago.

Transneft's operating profit was pegged at 142.34 billion rubles, increasing from the 121.37 billion rubles posted for the first half of 2018.

The company said it transported 235.2 million tonnes of crude oil to domestic and export markets in the first half compared to the 235.3 million tonnes transported in the first half of 2018.

As of Aug. 28, US$1 was equivalent to 66.56 Russian rubles.
