Athene Holding prices secondary offering

Athene Holding Ltd. priced an underwritten secondary offering of 16.2 million class A common shares at $49 per share.

The company will not receive any proceeds from the offering. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,430,000 class A common shares from certain Athene shareholders at the offering price, less the underwriting discount.

The offering is expected to close June 12.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Barclays, Citigroup and Wells Fargo Securities are joint book runners of the offering and representatives of the underwriters. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BMO Capital Markets, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank Securities, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets, Evercore ISI, Keefe Bruyette & Woods, Sandler O'Neill & Partners LP, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and UBS Investment Bank are book runners.
