Chairman at state-run Banco do Brasil leaves

The chairman of state-owned Banco do Brasil SA, Fabrício da Soller, resigned from his position effective Jan. 1, Reuters reported.

Soller's departure from the board comes as President Jair Bolsonaro was sworn into office on the same day, succeeding Michel Temer.

The bank's distribution officer, Reinaldo Kazufumi Yokoyama, also resigned as the bank's distribution officer. He held the post since 2016, according to a filing.

Kazufumi Yokoyama will become customer, commercial and product director at insurance unit BB Seguridade Participações SA.
