China Vanke FY'18 attributable profit climbs 20.39% YOY

China Vanke Co. Ltd. said its net profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company for the full 2018 year amounted to 33.77 billion yuan, a gain of 20.39% from 28.05 billion yuan in the prior-year period.

EPS rose to 3.06 yuan from 2.54 yuan on an annual basis.

The S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus normalized EPS estimate for 2018 was 3.14 yuan.

Revenue climbed 25.17% during the 12 months to 297.08 billion yuan from 237.34 billion yuan in 2017. Of the total revenue, the developer's core business, including property development, accounted for roughly 293.82 billion yuan.

Additionally, China Vanke plans to pay a cash dividend of 10.7 yuan, inclusive of tax, for every 10 existing shares held, up from the 9-yuan cash dividend proposed for 2017. The amount will be paid to shareholders on or around Aug. 30, subject to approval at the annual general meeting of 2018.

As of March 22, US$1 was equivalent to 6.72 yuan.
