Metropolitan Bank Holding Corp. CFO resigns

Sangeeta Kishore resigned March 6 as executive vice president and CFO of Metropolitan Bank Holding Corp. and subsidiary Metropolitan Commercial Bank, with immediate effect.

Metropolitan Bank Holding Corp. said Kishore's departure is not due to any dispute with the New York-based entities or to the company's accounting practices or financial statements.

A search for her successor is underway. In the interim, Gerard Perri will serve as the company's principal financial officer; Daniel Wong will be principal accounting officer. Perri will retain his role as executive vice president and COO of both the company and the bank; Wong remains the bank's vice president and controller.
