Dorian caused no 'significant damage' to Bahamas hub, Buckeye says

Buckeye Partners LP's flagship marine terminal Buckeye Bahamas Hub did not sustain any significant damage from Hurricane Dorian, the partnership reported after conducting initial assessments.

Buckeye is scheduled to complete in-depth, on-the-ground assessments at the facility in the coming days, according to a Sept. 3 news release.

The Buckeye Bahamas Hub is one of the largest marine crude oil and refined petroleum products storage facilities in the world, and the largest storage terminal in the Caribbean, with 21.6 million barrels of storage capacity.

Buckeye is one of the largest liquid petroleum products pipeline operators in the U.S. in terms of volumes delivered.
