UK's Channel 4, VICE Media strike content deal for VOD service All 4

Channel 4 (UK) has struck a deal that will make long-form content from VICE Media LLC available on the British public broadcaster's video-on-demand platform All 4.

Under the partnership, All 4 will launch a VICE-branded hub later in 2018 that contains more than 200 hours of new programming and over 700 hours of content from VICE's library. The deal also covers upcoming VICE content.

Channel 4 said users will be able to access the VICE hub via the All 4 app across Channel 4-owned and operated platforms, on the Channel 4 website, as well as on Amazon.com Inc.'s Amazon Fire TV, connected TV service Freeview Play, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.-branded TVs and gaming consoles.

Earlier this year, Channel 4 brought four VICE titles to the All 4 service for a limited period as part of an initial third-party licensing deal.

All 4 was launched in April 2015 to replace Channel 4's previous online video offering, 4oD.
