Consolidated Communications offers TV service in 2 New York service areas

Consolidated Communications Holdings Inc. rolled out a television service in its Ancram and Austerlitz, N.Y., service areas over its new Fiber-to-the-Premises 1 Gig network.

The TV service will let customers access national and local channels, along with regional sports networks, via a variety of triple-play packages and options, the company said Aug. 14. Customers can also record TV shows in HD on a Whole-home DVR, which is included in all TV packages.

This expansion is in addition to the company's recent launch of TV service in Ghent, N.Y.
