Gulf Manganese fully funded to construct, commission Kupang smelter in Indonesia

Gulf Manganese Corp. Ltd. received a final A$6 million tranche under its A$15 million convertible note agreement with Indonesia-based investment group PT Jayatama Tekno Sejahtera.

The company said June 6 that it is now fully funded to complete the construction and commissioning of the first two smelters at its Kupang manganese smelting hub facility in West Timor, Indonesia.

Gulf Manganese unit PT Gulf Mangan Grup signed a five-year deal with Indonesian national power provider PT PLN (Persero) Wilayah NTT for the supply of 20 MVA power to the Kupang facility.
